Saint Rupert

On the basis of "my enemies enemy is therefore my friend" I can only find myself lighting a candle for Saint Rupert of Murdoch-or wherever his nationality of choice for himself is these days.
I declare him to be a saint on this day when I hear the ludicrous "Today " programme set him up as a heretic or blasphemer-or whatever relativist term of abuse might be their equivalent in Beebland..."inappropriately disappointing" maybe?
Yes-Montague was shrill in her hounding of Brendan O`Neill who was cast out in the boondocks and defending the Dirty Digger. She of course was making eye contact over the croissants there in the studio with some house trained meeja expert from "the Uni of Westminsta!"...where else do you go for numpties on speed dial who will cipher the BBCs(and indeed all right thinking types from the Guardian downwards)"concerns" at Murdochs undue influence on the media output of this country?
Here then is the first trick of the Beeb...the good guy in the studio and the contrary bad hatted one out on his phoneline...easier to cut off no doubt.

Sarah says that Sky control 37% of all outlets in the country regarding output of news etc-wonder who has the other 63% then?...not the impartial BBC surely?
No matter-`twas indeed a joy to hear Sarah and our chum from Uni( no demonstrations to go on today sir?...doncha know of the cuts maan?) both shouting down young Brendan at one and the same time...a delight to smoke out (of course that is banned but you know what I mean!) the left liberal consensus that Rupert is a bad egg...and his seat at Oxford(normally a first port of call for experts in a barrel to choose from!)...is therefore given the cold shoulder for our man from Westminster Uni.
At least we did`nt get Greenslade or Howlett this time...give it a day or so boys!
So it is Saint Ruperts Day-and indeed will always be until the BBC is cut to its correct size, and we get it to represent all of us and not the bleeding Guardian all the time.
And hope came in the previous piece on its woeful show this morning. The World Service is to be cut-and an old BBC hand says that International Development should have been cut to save it...did I hear that right?... no ring fence for Geldof or Oxfam...don`t tell Bono anyone.
Oh-anyone else get the story about Carbon Trading trades being suspended due to unaccountable fraud on an industrial scale-and all in Euros too!...are you thinking what I`m thinking...not another Euroscam is it?...don`t expect Harrabin or Black to inform us further in any case.
